In MILITARY, Police Action on 10/15/2010 at 9:24 AM

The war of the future is robot warriors going the dirty work with no remorse nor discrimination or people…and all of this is taking place under the Obama Administration – the administration of CHANGE.

The missile attack was in the village of Machi Khel, near Mir Ali in North Waziristan, two officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk with the press.

The officials said the three killed have not yet been identified, but the village is known to house a mix of militants from the Afghan Taliban and local Pakistani insurgent groups.

The U.S. has sharply escalated its use of unmanned drone missile strikes targeting militants in Pakistan’s border region in the last two months.

In FAIL, Money Matters on 10/15/2010 at 9:18 AM

Yet ANOTHER slap in the face of American citizens.

You work all your life – you get old – you retire – you want to collect the money from the fund you paid into – your country keeps your money while you go broke…

Gov’t: No increase for Social Security next year

By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer Stephen Ohlemacher, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – More than 58 million retirees and disabled Americans will get no increase in Social Security benefits next year, the second year in a row without a raise.

The Social Security Administration said Friday inflation has been too low since the last increase in 2009 to warrant an increase for 2011. The announcement marks only the second year without an increase since automatic adjustments for inflation were adopted in 1975. The first year was this year.

Manufacturing, Education, Construction jobs Down; Service Sector Up

In FAIL, Money Matters on 10/08/2010 at 10:18 AM

This alarming news show that TENS  of THOUSANDS of jobs were lost in the Education sector, and the Manufacturing and Construction industry. BUT – an increase in health services, leisure/hospitality, and temporary services. What this tells me is that America is trending towards a once mighty nation of industry and produce – and moving towards a docile servitude country.

Is this by design?

Economy loses 95K jobs due to government layoffs

By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER, AP Economics Writer

WASHINGTON – A wave of government layoffs in September outpaced weak hiring in the private sector, pushing down the nation’s payrolls by a net total of 95,000 jobs.

The unemployment rate held at 9.6 percent last month, the Labor Department said Friday. The jobless rate has now topped 9.5 percent for 14 straight months, the longest stretch since the 1930s.

A net total of 159,000 government jobs were lost in September. Local governments cut 76,000 jobs last month, most of them teachers. That’s the largest cut by local governments in 28 years. About 77,000 temporary federal census jobs ended and state governments shed 7,000 jobs.

Nearly 14.8 million people were unemployed last month. That’s almost 100,000 fewer than in August.

Manufacturers cut 6,000 jobs, the second straight month of losses. The sector drove job growth earlier this year, adding 134,000 positions in the first five months of 2010, but factory employment has been flat since then.

Construction firms cut another 21,000 jobs, hampered by weakness in commercial real estate development. Information services lost 5,000 positions.

Other sectors showed job gains: Health care added 32,000 jobs, the leisure and hospitality sector added 38,000, and retailers added 5,700. Temporary help services hired nearly 17,000 workers.

I do know this: a handful of corporations used their stimulus money to move their operations offshore.
